First thing I want to say is, Oh darn it, I should have taken a pic of the lovely presentation that Cindu and the wonder staff at Bramalea did for the Wine Tea Pairing Event.
I took my 9 year old niece to the event. I do feel that I need to justify tea at her age. I know tea has caffeine, but in our West/East Indian home young kids drink lots of tea with milk and sugar, I want to expose her to new things, but I Digress. We got there a few minutes early, but the staff knew why we were there, but kept us very busy by showing us the different teas. I found that they were very nice to my neice and she selected a few to try.
When it came down to the Wine Teas, we both found that the Red were too strong for us. When I say strong, I don't mean the tea or the steep, I mean the flavour. They both had wonderful flavours, but our pallette couldn't handle it. We found the Champagne was light and I forsee many wonderful recipes with that.
