Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2009

This Wine is from New Zealand, I usually ask for help when I am at the LCBO and I was told that New Zealand makes the BEST Sauvignon Blanc.

When I tried this wine, I thought I was pretty good, but I have had better. I tend to prefer the wines that are more mild tasting.

I found this wine was very zesty and tangy. This is a crisp and refreshing wine.

I found that there was a prominent citrus flavour, this wine is not sweet, but it is not terribly bitter either. I find that this wine has a bit more acidity than I like, but it is not overwhelming.

I paired this wine with chicken, and I found that it went very well with a nice grilled chicken and vegetables.
